old pics from back in march of 2021 when i laid down my mv. it was a sad day but was able to walk away… mostly. for me the biggest kick in the teeth wasn’t the night in the hospital but all the headache of working with an MV Agusta dealership on a propper estimate. I’m fairly certain that they had no interest in working on the bike or attempting to fix it so they put down a huge estimate to ensure it was totaled and left me underwater on the deal.
also, when the bike went to auction someone swapped the exhaust. i suspect that the mv dealer pulled off the Project SC exhaust to resell it and put on some stock pipes to make the insurance company happy with an ‘intact’ bike. not only do I feel a bit screwed but the guy who bought the chassis is in for a world of headaches.
